Take That, Loud Talking Cell Phone Guy!

We've all been there— within earshot of that incredibly annoying, loud-talking cell phone user. The problem can be particularly agitating when the person talking is using one those fancy hands-free headsets, misleading us into thinking they might be initiating a conversation with us. But no, they're just being annoying and alienating at the same time. A-holes.

By the way, I do answer my cell in public (depends on where I'm at), but I have a totally different tone when I speak. In fact, that's how my people can tell if I'm in a public place or not! I love Larry David.

I actually had to school my mother, a few weeks ago, on how not to talk loud into your cell phone. She would never answer her phone in a restaurant, but she will in the grocery store. I was two isles over & I could hear every word. So, I yelled across the isles, "Mother, not everybody wants to hear your end of the conversation!" She was pissed, but I made my point. My sister does the same frikkin' thing when she's in public & on her cell. I don't understand what it is about a cell phone that makes people think they need to speak so loudly.

Ah, I heart Larry David, and I love this clip. He is so spot-on with this. I can't fucking STAND when people talk loudly on their cell phones in public. It's so rude.

i have to admit, my cell is usually attached to my ear (i dont even bother with a home phone these days) but when i'm in public, I keep my conversation quite and at a G rated level. I hate people that have to scream their convos to the rest of the world. :x

I fucking hate people on their cell phones in public areas I want to smash their faces off whatever surface is avaliable It makes me SO mad..The level of disrespect these people have to carry on loud stupid conversations about trivial crap.. cell phones should only be used in emergencies ... Stranded on the side of the road..Lost somewhere.. Bleeding or some other life threatening injury.. But they shouldn't be used for general conversations in areas where there are other people who can hear you carry on an asinine conversation
