More like handcuffs for your lady parts, chastity belts first showed up in Europe in the 15th century. They had small openings that allowed women to urinate and defecate, and some even came with padlocks. From the 1700s to the 1930s (!), they were even used to keep women from masturbating. O.M.G.

It's actually documented that WOMEN were the ones who held the keys to their own chastity belts.Basically they were an anti-rape kit. At least, that is my understanding.
