We now know what Wanda Sykes thinks of American Idol and this video only supports her point. Meet Mary Roach. All her friends tell her that she has an "amazing" voice. Simon Cowell disagrees. So Mary asks to audition one of her "other" voices. Reik! Reik! Reik! ...Do yourself a favor and watch until her post-audition finale. If you look closely enough, you just might catch her head spinning.

i think mary is a very good mimic. she copies voices that we hear every day on tv /movies. shame on her so called "friends" for making her a joke. she has an illness. and needs treatment. and what about her parents? to allow their daughter to grow up and not get treatment. i call that child abuse. i actually "feel" for mary.its sad that she's like this.!!!

Okay, she is bad. But I wouldn't have said that she is the worst singer ever. That is just cruel. I don't watch AI so maybe I am not in the "know" but they could have told her to find her "real voice" and try another time. Poor girl. Personally I think that her voice is the LEAST of her problems!

Hey, I'd pay to see her rock band! She's amazing! But, I wouldn't let her touch my hair! Can you imagine going to a salon for a trim and being trapped in a chair for an hour with Mary and a pair of scissors! Yikes!

I am horrified to admit that I felt riveted to her camel-toe, in spite of myself. It is frightening, yet I cannot seem to look away. ((shakes off a shiver, and instinctively tugs at her own pants)) But somethin' tells me I may have only mentioned that to annoy her. (My son heard this clip an asked, "Why is that person singing all CRAZY?" -- "Ummmm. . .she's being funny, sweet-pea; don't worry about it.") I wonder why one of her many voices didn't tell her to wear pants that fit properly.
