5 Signs Your Mom Is Sexting

It's traumatizing enough to know the 50-plus set has taken to the sext, and then you remember your parents. Your dear, 50-something-year-old mom and dad who can't even upload pictures to their Facebook accounts — or whatever their tech limit is.

Maybe it's just the savviest — and sassiest — seniors sexting away, but what happens when they get, oh, confused? Who are they going to ask? Here are five signs you have a sexting mom or dad!

She asks "How do I set my phone to vibrate?"
She starts turning whole sentences into acronyms, like DYGTTD? (Did you go to the dentist?)
She asks how to text a photo.
She texts you popular sexting acronyms like K4Y (kiss for you) or NALOPKT or (not a lot of people know that!)
She unwittingly asks what acronyms like ASL (Age/Sex/Location) mean.

My mom probably does. She just added that she's in a "complicated relationship" on Facebook so I wouldn't doubt that her and that d-bag sext back and forth.

Oh I'm positive they do. I was staying in a hotel with Mom a few months ago, and walked in the bathroom on her (I thought she went to get towels) in her bra in front of the mirror with her phone. Humiliating. Not sure for who more though. And since she knew I knew, she spent the rest of the day freaking out that my Dad would brag about it at work and the guys would know. He didn't/wouldn't, but I still managed to throw in a lecture about naked pictures and technology for her ;)Slightly amusing, VERY horrifying.

My parents text. My mom actually has a blackberry and knows how to use it. I highly doubt they "sext" though. My dad has fowarded me some nasty jokes so, who knows?

My parents don't do this. My mom barely even knows how to <i>answer</i> her cell phone, let alone send texts. She lets the battery die and doesn't charge it for like a month.
