Good ole Phyllis she is still around...I am 57 years old do I qualify as a baby boomer. I am not a conservative and fought for woman's rights, I fought for woman to have the right to choose, fought for equality in the work place the list goes on and on so not all baby boomers are conservative Grinch's, you are correct she is awful and all of the woman she represents are awful they are a group of elitist to whom the rules and laws do not apply the Paris Hilton's of today their closets are full of skeletons and their lives are a sham and they are so far removed from the real world they are clueless...nuff said .

I read phyllis schafley's book and a bio on her when i took a class in women and politics. she was actually interested in push atomic science issues in congress... she got rebuffed (as a woman ) in the 70's and so she did this. it is hypocritical that she goes around the country when she says women should stay at home and are responsible for the break up of the family. she said if her husband ever told her to stop she would. yeah right.

I don't know about anybody else but I'm beginning to think that all these advances in medicine that allow people like her to live long, long lives just so they can fight any changes in society that may happen during their 90 years on earth (how old is she anyways?) are not worth it. Seriously, the conservative baby boomers seem to be so afraid of any change and advances in technology and they are fighting to remain the ruling voice of america even as they age (ungracefully, I might add) and are no longer part of the american work or head of the family unit. When will they step down and let the new generations make the decisions? They didn't have this problem because back when they were younger, people weren't living almost a full century, so they didn't have to worry about the elderly fighting the changes they tried to push through.
