Sarah Silverman reamed Paris Hilton at the MTV Movie Awards. I'm not a Paris fan, but even I got a little squeamish. Was Sarah too hard on Paris?

this is disgusting. this comedian has not convictions or class. i'm sorry, if paris was in jail and she was saying these things, it would still suck, but it wouldn't be like she was sitting in the audience. the worst is when she said "aw sweetie" this woman is a bitch. this seriously is way out of line

Sarah Silverman is kind of gross. I guess she rubs me as one of those insecure people who have to poke fun at others so they don't get made fun of. Only SS made it into an actual career.. Paris is obviously not an angel, but she is a real person with actual feelings.. people don't get that sometimes.

Any person that is in the public eye is fair game to ridicule. Sarah is a comedienne. It is no different if Conan O'Brien, David Letterman or the staff of SNL making fun of Paris. I bet if any other comedian was on stage at the MTV awards, they would mention Paris in some way.

I watched it and I think it's just a joke. SS is a little 'nasty' but oh she's funny! If Paris couldn't take a joke, then, oh well, that's her problem. Sarah Silverman is a comedienne to begin with and she made fun not only of Paris Hilton on that stage. If she didn't touch the subject of Paris going to jail, I'd think it's very discriminating to Paris because SS mentioned everyone else! :)

First, I'd like to mention that Jay Leno, David Letterman and the lot wouldn't make a joke about Paris giving blowjobs to prison bars on national television. Second, I think it's interesting that that was the point Sarah wanted to make about Paris - nevermind the fact that her reckless driving could kill someone. Last, I'm not of fan of women calling other women sluts. Paris has made some stupid, stupid choices (why celebrities insist on doing stupid things and TAPING or photographing those behaviors is beyond me) but I think that was a bit far. Could you imagine her dad's reaction to hearing that or seeing that clip of his daughter getting reamed (verbally, by Sarah)? You know how dads are about their daughters. Eeesh. Yes, Sarah is a comedienne but ouch.

Paris Hilton is a public fugure and therefore must expect that comments about her will be made in public, it comes with the territory. This is especially so since she does some outrageout things. However for Sarah Silverman to belittle her, while she was present and unable to respond, showed a total lack of class on Sarah Silvereman's part. Paris will soon be out of jail, but Sarah Silverman will, now, always be a classless, mean spirited *!&$.

Oh, give me a friggin' break. Paris is such a shameless publicity whore that she can't even drive to jail without rolling down the car window so the paparazzi can get a good shot of her. While I think Paris Hilton is a spoiled, phony mega-shank and it's refreshing to see someone talk about someone to their face instead of behind their back, I feel that Silverman only did it to make a bigger name for herself.

I don't feel bad for Paris. She deserved it. She craves media attention- Well, she got it, just not how she wanted it. She's always rude to people, she deserves it back. I don't feel bad at all. I thought it was the best joke of the night. Good job Sarah!
