New Sarah Palin Biography Alleges Scandalous Past

A new unauthorized Sarah Palin biography hits shelves this month, Joe McGinniss's The Rogue: Searching For the Real Sarah Palin, and the book's allegations against the former vice presidential candidate are juicy, to say the least.

According to the Sarah Palin book, she snorted coke with Todd, had a one-night stand with an NBA star, and cheated on her husband with his business partner. If all this information is true, the likelihood of Sarah joining the presidential race seems dismal. But nowadays every politician has a scandal, and by getting her name in the public's eye again could the book actually be helping her political aspirations instead of hurting them?

I voted help. Now that I know she's freaky in bed and does drugs, she seems cooler to me.

I can't figure her out Annie. I mostly think Palin's just trying to stretch her 15 mnutes as much as possible, which I think is smart (if not cruel to the rest of us). But some times, I worry her ego really thinks she's got a shot. Maybe Perry would pick her to run with him because I can't imagine Bachmann will still be viable next year.

People pretty much love her or hate her now – it’s not impossible to think her team will spin it in a way that makes Palin looks like a victim: portraying McGinness as some drolling liberal, reverse racist literary rapist.
