I met the guy once during a pitch for a website project. Truly, the biggest douche I have ever met. As for the sweat shop thing? True, but do not let that confuse you. Personally, the guy could give a crap about it. As far as I can tell, ALL OF IT a marketing ploy and nothing else. I will agree that even if it is just that, it still better, but to make him a saint for the working class is ridiculous,

Actually, none of the lawsuits were in the favor of the plaintiff. I came out that it was just some lawyer in LA trying to make some money. However, there is a lot of stuff on the internet that slams Charney. The infamous "Times Online" has a story about how he masturbated 8 times in front of a female journalist who was interviewing him. At 40 years old, that is simply not possible. Times Online is fictitious neo-con crap. You have to realize, a guy who has a company that doesn't make clothes in sweat shops and sells them at competitive prices makes a whole industry look bad. He was sued by Woody Allen for a billboard that used a picture of Woody Allen as a rabbi. His insurance company settled for $5m. Not the sexy juicy story you hoped for...
