Ryan Gosling Leading Ladies in Movies

Williams co-starred with Gosling in 2010's tragic love story Blue Valentine. In order to bring realism to their performances, the film's director insisted that the two leads move in together, along with their onscreen daughter, and live as a family between filming schedules. It worked, and Williams was nominated for an Academy Award. (She also co-starred with Gosling in 2003's United States of Leland, though they didn't share any scenes.)
