Fun or Embarrassing? Valentine's Day Flowers at the Office

I was a little embarassed the 1 time my hubby did send them but they were very big and I really don't love attention on me! But it was a sweet gesture.

My ex-boyfriend did this while we were dating. It was kind of awkward. I wonder sometimes if guys do it so then you HAVE to answer questions about your dating life, kind of like an ego booster for the guy. :-/

flowers any other day of the year = romantic
flowers on valentines day = gag

I love it. But, it can get awkward around unattached women or women with slacking husbands or boyfriends. I deal with it yearly.

hate hate hate!! i work with ALL men so that would be extremely embarrassing for me....

I love it. My hubby randomly sends flowers to work throughout the year - often hand delivering them himself. My male coworkers warn me to never let their wives know because then they'll seem inconsiderate for not doing it too.

I love it best when I'm having a really sh*tty day and I get a big vase of gerbera daisies - they always cheer me up!

I think I just don't get embarrassed easily I find this totally cute, but more so any day of the year. Not just on Valentine's Day. And I don't mind answering questions about my love life; if they get too personal or weird, then I deflect the question.

I don't understand why it's embarrassing at all! I think it's a lovely gesture, even if it's other people receiving them.

I think it's great! Who wouldn't want something pretty to look at on their desk?

my sweetheart surprised me by having a half dozen roses delivered to my job. My co workers know I have a bad track record when it comes to dating, so finally, my prince made the grand gesture to treat me like the goddess that I am. I loved every second!
