In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz opens up about work and worrying. She says:

I've always been a worrier. Since I was a little girl I've always felt that if I had a moment of peace I'd wonder: Are you sure you can afford to feel like this?

I can totally relate to this sentiment. As I've gotten older I've tried to remember that while a healthy level of anxiety can help me keep my priorities straight, needless worries can sabotage moments of pleasure and peace. What about you?

I love that she said this, because I can understand where she's coming from. It sucks, but I worry about everything. Useless things get too many hours of attention from me. Oh, man, I wish I could just let go and not worry but it seems like it's my shadow, always there.

I too worry a lot. I also over analyze things. Deadly combination. Add in a little anexity and I'm a mess at times. I'm trying to take on a glass half full mentality, and let things go easier. it's hard, but one day at a time.

I worry a lot. I'm always anxious about something coming up, like due dates for projects or paying bills or a new task I'm going to have to do. I have thought about taking anti-anxiety medication for it, but I also attribute my worrying to my success. If I didn't care so much then I wouldn't get anything done. It's not always a bad thing IMO.

Yes, I am horrible. My husband always gets onto me about this, but I can't help it. It is a trait that has been passed down in my family and has actually gotten less each generation. I am less of a worrier than my mother was.

Sometimes, but I try not to worry needlessly. I would focus my energy to resolve what's worrying me, instead of stressing about it. Once I think I've done the best I can, I let the anxiety go.

totally agree with Kimpossible, I used to be debilitated by worrying or anxiety, and have just learned to "let go and let God" and focus on the good things

I worry so much. If my sister is visiting me and is supposed to be there at 5:30 and its 5:40 I start freaking out and thinking she died in a crash or something. I can't help myself.
