Quiz Nation! Who's the "Decider" — Or Just Talks Like One?

As a presidency evolves (or vice versa) sometimes language has to expand and make room for some novel terms that best explain the times. "Decider" is one such term (thank you George W. Bush) and don't forget Mr. "Lust in his Heart," Jimmy Carter.

William Safire has a whole list of favorite presidential word inventions in this week's Newsweek, some of them are out of this world. See if you can match the new term with the presidency!

As for the article? I also would have gone with, "in the final analysis", for JFK, rather than "life is unfair". I've never heard "life is unfair".

At first I was confused about the "nabobs" because it was Spiro Agnew, then I realized that I didn't read the instructions carefully. It was the Presidency, not the President. At that point I wept because I realized I had poor reading comprehension.

4/4, WOOT! The 4th one made me go "hrrm", so I kind of guessed based on what I knew about each one. It's encouraging to know I'm not a complete moron when it comes to Presidents Past, lol. P.S. Ya'll should have thrown in "I am not a crook" for a laugh :)

Wahoo! 4/4 I figured nattering nabobs of negativism was Nixonian. It just made it that much MORE alliterative. Also, the man was brilliant. Had he not been so paranoid, I think we'd see him as a great president (EPA, OSHA, relationship with China).
