Prince William and his California girl Kate Middleton are enjoying Southern California so far by mixing business with pleasure and some sweet moments of public affection. The duke and duchess touched down at LAX on Friday, becoming the latest in a long list of foreign royals to tour the USA. On Friday night they attended a meeting of US and UK business leaders, followed by a cocktail reception at the home of the British Consul General, where fellow Brit and current LA resident David Beckham was on hand, as well as LA's mayor and California's governor Jerry Brown.
Saturday they headed to Santa Barbara for a polo match; William played and Kate handed out prizes. After a sporty day, the duke and duchess went glam for a date night in Hollywood. They mingled among celebs like Tom Hanks and Jennifer Lopez during the BAFTA Brits to Watch event at the Belasco Theater in LA. Last night Kate wore a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown and earrings borrowed from the queen while William, the president of BAFTA, traded his polo outfit for a tux. On Sunday, after a packed day of getting artsy at Inner City Arts campus and building care packages for military children, Prince William and Kate Middleton boarded a commercial British Airways flight from LAX to head back home.
During their nonstop schedule of official appearances, the royal newlyweds are managing to steal private moments and glances together — just like they did up north in Canada. It's fun to see a celebrity couple apparently so happy and in love. Based on their giant smiles, it looks like Will and Kate are enjoying their time abroad, as well as each other. Take a look at their cutest Cali moments now.
