What Do You Like to Do on Your Birthday?

Today President Obama turns 49! The relatively youthful president has plans for a low key birthday this year because Michelle and Sasha have jetted off to Spain for vacation and Malia is away at camp. But he won't be lonely. Obama will head to Chicago to enjoy a birthday dinner with friends, and he'll stay the night in his house in Hyde Park. Since next year the president celebrates his half-century mark, he might mark the milestone with a bigger celebration, but his plans tonight sound perfectly relaxing to me. On your birthday, what do you like to do?

I like it when my husband takes me somewhere special and I love getting some hang out time with my best friend!

I dont really care too much for my birthday. I guess I would like to make a bigger fuss about it, but I never do. I like to go to dinner, get flowers from my lovers (lmao) But I've never had anything crazy. Im a simple Jane.

Eat whatever I want for dinner and doing something I love. Could be watching a movie (whether at home or at the theaters), taking a nice long hot bath, getting a massage, shopping or doing anything I fancy.

Truthfully, I like to spend a quiet day with my husband - having good conversation, some dining out, etc. I do consider my birthday to be a good, personal occasional, and that's how I like to celebrate it -- good and personal. :)

I like to go out to dinner with a big group of friends, but no anywhere where they will put a sombrero on me and sing the birthday song. :P

Thankfully, my birthday's in the summer, so I don't have school. I usually just sleep in and when I finally wake up, I spend the day watching TV or sitting around reading. Then I get ready and go out for dinner with my family and friends. It's low-key, but it's totally about spending time with the people who matter most.

I don't really care about my birthday, it's just another day, and pretty much only significant to my mom. I guess it's significant to me because after all, I was born and I'm still alive, but I don't like to attention whore. I do tend to like to eat a slice of pizza (or another deliciously unhealthy food), and listen to "forever young".

Nice of Michelle to bail on his birthday ;) I like to do something fun with my friends and family. Usually it will involve a weekend celebration at the cottage or on a weekend trip. I don't need a huge hoopla all about me dinner or antyhing like that, but I like to know I did something fun and memorable!
