My mom was an early 80s bride. Lucky for her, she has a simple, classic style so she avoided all of these faux pas.

^^ My mom's dress was also very simple and pretty. She didn't have big hair either. It was very long, but straight and not at all fluffed/teased. She didn't even have a veil. So their wedding picture isn't one of those laughable 80s ones. Except for maybe my dad's 'fro, but it was more cool than anything.
