A US Army officer holds hands with an Iraqi military officer during a handover ceremony at Camp Rustimiyah yesterday. Iraq will now have control of the camp that houses the Iraqi Military Academy and 200 other buildings.

If they were gay military leaders in a military setting, I would feel the same way and I would also wonder why the article/picture would mention they were gay.

I am pretty sure in Iraq, it is not the usual culture for 2 military leaders to hold hands. And I came back to this after I noticed it was April 1st...but I guess they're serious.

I know this is a happy occasion and all, but don't you think the photo is a bit silly! Could't they do something more....umm...military-like?
