On the pilot episode of NBC's new comedy Perfect Couples, one character tells her husband she's going to let their dog out of the bedroom if they're going to have sex. Why? She feels like he judges them.

Judging sounds like a cognitive impossibility, but dogs do tend to stare. And it certainly doesn't help that their mouths are usually open, so I can understand the conundrum. Last year, 70 percent of you said pets interfere during sex, but is it so bad that you've kicked them to the hallway?

I don't pay attention to pets during sex, but there have been several times when whatever-guy and I finish and then notice his/my dog staring with this perverty panting grin. I only kicked my dog out once, when she jumped ON my bed during sex.

The dogs don't sleep with us, but yes, I'd probably kick them out.

The dog barks at us. We HAVE to kick him out. He'll bark and growl the whole time and drive us nuts. I think he doesn't get it and think's we're hurting each other so he get's all "HEY!! STOP THAT YOU'RE HURTING EACH OTHER!!!". It's funny but we feel bad because you can tell he's genuinely confused for some reason.

My dog sometimes watches and sometimes sits under the bed waiting for us to finish. We've tried kicking him out of the room, but he whines and paws at the door for us to let him in. He pretty much does that if we're ever separated anywhere in the house..

My ex's cat watched us one time, just sat there on the pillow with this semi-bored look on his face that was priceless...he looked like he was a judge on a reality show and was trying to decide how we rated. We both laughed so hard we could barely get through it.

There's been a few times we've had to kick the dog out of the bed (sometimes he seems to think it's family play time), but usually he leaves us alone or sulks under the bed.

Haha I've had to kick my cat out just a few times. Usually he left all by himself.
