Pakistan Says US Not Hunting bin Laden On Its Turf
Pakistan's top diplomat said Saturday there are no US or other foreign military personnel on the hunt for Osama bin Laden in his nation, and none will be allowed in to search for the al Qaeda leader. In an interview with The Associated Press, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said his nation's new government has ruled out such military operations, covert or otherwise, to catch militants.

Bush was never looking to find Bin Laden. He made some deal with the Saud family to not kill him on his watch. He'll be caught on the next president's term. You'll see.

Don't be so quick to point fingers - Conservative radio host Michael Smerconish talked about the 'hunt for bin Laden' on Bill O’Reilly’s Radio Factor, 07/01/08: "We’ve let down 3,000 individuals, 3,000 innocent Americans. We’ve not brought that situation to closure. There’s been no justice on their behalf. And I’m going to tell you something else that many of you are not going to want to hear but the Times makes this clear as well: We’ve squandered resources in Iraq. Somewhere buried in this story is a report of how there was a request for more predator drones, the unmanned spacecraft, to fly over those tribal areas to try to zero in on the whereabouts of the al Qaeda leadership, and they were told, Sorry, we don’t have them because they’re all being used in Iraq. Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld's sense of territoriality has become legendary, according to these officials. In early November 2002, for example, a CIA drone armed with a Hellfire missile killed a top al-Qaeda leader traveling through the Yemeni desert. About a week later, Rumsfeld expressed anger that it was the CIA, not the Defense Department, that had carried out the successful strike. "How did they get the intel?" he demanded of the intelligence and other military personnel in a high-level meeting, recalled one person knowledgeable about the meeting. Gen. Michael V. Hayden, then director of the National Security Agency and technically part of the Defense Department, said he had given it to them. "Why aren't you giving it to us?" Rumsfeld wanted to know. Find the woman, find Osama).Osama bin Laden is the biggest chicken on the planet Earth. If he were a man, he would come out and fight like a man. He prefers the burkha.
