Oh Snap! It's Finally OK to Be Gay in India

While gay Americans fight for marriage rights, gay people in India are just winning the right to be homosexual. Today the high court in New Delhi overruled colonial-era legislation that criminalized homosexuality. Britain decriminalized homosexual acts in 1967, but its former colonies, including Malaysia, Singapore, and Zimbabwe still have strict laws against homosexual relations.

WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!! If you want to be gay, fine, just leave our country and go to some island where you and all the other gay people can live. Where they can marry and be happy. Gays should not be allowed to adopt, and lesbians should not be allowed artificial insemination. But if you want to be gay, stay away from me and my country. Republicans, HELLYEAH!!!!

This is good news! But a funny quote in one of the pictures was "my first legal sex". That points to "i've had illegal sex". :)

I live in Washington, DC and it's confusing sometimes to think about the rest of the country/ world struggling so much with even acknowledging that gay people are not the spawn of Satan. I never give a second thought to two men or women holding hands walking around Georgetown or even making out at a club. I'm lucky that most of the people I know AND the people I meet would laugh out loud at the prospect that homosexuals are not equal to heterosexuals, or that they shouldn't have the same rights. It's hard for me not to be condescending sometimes when someone disagrees with me on this issue, it just BLOWS MY MIND that some people are so terrified of someone's choice of mate.

Well, if you think about it, the US didn't guarantee that right until a few years ago in Lawrence v. TX. Which is so sad.

excuse me for this comparison, but if there are gay animals in the forest, what makes humans think they are the only one who can be gay? They always try to use the notion that God doesn't make mistake. God maybe doesn't make mistake but nature surely does.
