Busy week on the unintentionally-racist-foreign-marketing beat! An ad agency in Russia unveiled the racially flavored ad of our week. But like Germany, Russia didn't mean it. It meant, a black is in the White House. Yay! Not, a black is in the white, oh, nevermind. Пизданутый!

Hahaha, whoops! It's just one of those things when you have to remember that other countries look at these social issues differently from us.
1Its just amazing to me that Citizen Sugar covers this kind of stuff but doesn't mention anything about the Obama adminstration's proposal to force private insurance companies to pay for treatment of military veterans who have suffered service-connected disabilities and injuries. Or that ACORN is going to pay a role in the 2010 census. I think those stories are way more worthy of a mention than an ad from Russia. But that's just me.
2It's starting to feel like the posts about racism either play it for laughs or come from an 'are you going to be offended by this too?' attitude.
