Military Wives Support Their Troops With Stripteases

Military wives wanting to surprise their returning husbands don't enter the bedroom unprepared— they're going to burlesque basic training first.

Taught by a former professional stripper and current military wife, Operation Bombshell travels around the country offering military women lessons in sexy striptease. The students take it seriously, the New York Times reports, arriving in gym clothes and cross trainers.

After being separated by yearlong tours in Afghanistan, military wives hope these routines will jumpstart their sex lives. Would you learn some burlesque moves to bring to the bedroom, or would you have a hard time keeping a straight face as you performed?

Yes, I know what the men are like, I am in the Military, So is my boyfriend. I am not one of the cheaters but unfortunately see it all going on, Including my current boyfriend, who was cheating before his deployment, I found out when he was out there. He has just returned on his R&R. He is trying so hard now because he regrets it, but unfortunately my trust has gone. Its difficult to split with someone, when they are going back to a war situation. but....... I think the burlesque is an awesome idea, nice also to boost the girls confidence! If you are blessed with a good man this is a brilliant thing to do! I think after so long being apart it is a really nice gesture too!! Good on you chicks!!!!

A lot of the guys who return from a deployment have some issues that they need to deal with and one of them is readjusting to being with their wives. Sometimes the sex-a-thon that they expected when they get home gets stalled by a difficult readjustment. It's important for wives to have realistic expectations when a solider returns home. A striptease might put too much pressure on him if he is having a difficult transition when he gets back. It also might leave him wondering what exactly his wife has been up to while he was gone. I think it's a fun idea and the classes are probably a blast but I would gauge how well my soldier was adjusting before I whipped out some sexy stripper routine.

Damn lurkers. :PAnyways, I guess this is more or less a "surprise" that the spouses can give their husbands after they get back. Not that they need any help. But a lot of military do struggle with readjustment issues, so something like this may help "break the ice" and keep the communication lines between partners open.

Why are you people so judgemental? I never mentioned being with a married man in my comment. Im in a committed relationship and it pisses me off to see men and women cheating and then they get back home the kiss their spouse after screwing someone else for 6 months, and the same things happen with spouses who are home, one of my closest friends wanting to surprise his fiance and caught her in the act with another man. too bad you cant take the cold hard truth

So.. spanishgirl69... how do you know "there is a lot of cheating going on where people get sent away." Are you involved in this? Not all men are scumbags. The majority are actually not. It's sad that there are the women engaging in this when they know the men have wives/and or children. Gross. Shame on you and the man, of course. It's funny, because back in the day the military stood for character and class, now a days.... not so much.

im in the military, hopefully if your significant other has been faithfull, there should be fireworks in the bedroom when he/she gets back from deployment, i have to say tho, there is a lot of cheating going on when people get sent away. Im in the navy and i laugh to myself when i hear someone loves being on a ship or getting deployed because i automatically know what they are doing while they are away from their families. There are some who love their spouse and dont cheat though.

I'm not a military wife, so I can't judge... but I'd think that after months/a year apart, a couple's sex life would jump-start itself!! Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? My husband and I are always the most all over each other when we've had to spend time apart.
