i think that we've all managed to come up with our own 'kit' of gear that we need to have if we stay over night at a guy's place and there are things in this kit that just aren't real necessities - at least for me :)

I usually carry these around anyway. I'm a hygiene freak so if I anticipate any "nooky" with my boyfriend I always have the necessities on hand. I agree that they left out the important things though...like condoms and a toothbrush and toothpaste.

LOL -- i think its pretty funny. we aren't all perfect, the one night stand I did have, i sure wish i had this.. mind you, nothing on this scale could save me, since i still had to be driven home in my fancy dress from the night before. ive been dating the same guy now for a bit over 3 years, and i still wish i had this little kit sometimes. i know we've been together a fair amount of time, but even if just for the undies in the kit...thers been times ive realized i had horrible looking underwear when he is feeling in the mood. oh well. now, if they offered just a hangover kit with all the makeup to fix me from looking like a zombie, well, i'd buy that!!!!

This just looks like an embarrassing gag gift to me. I'm married and don't need a dating kit, but I take many overnight trips and I think this set is completely missing the point of what women really need. I'd rather have a toothbrush and tiny skin care kit with packets of makeup remover, facial wash, and moisturizer. (These overnight skin care kits are sold for about $3 at every convenience store in Japan. They're useful not only for dates, but for freshening up on long flights as well.) As for the makeup, there are already plenty of discreet travel compacts stuffed with enough makeup to do a full face.

Another non skank-related use: I almost got one for my BF, who is a medical resident and often works 24-hour shifts and wants to freshen up mid-course, or runs her butt off and then wants to go meet up with friends afterward. It'd be a nice emergency kit in her locker. Although I agree that mints or a toothbrush or at least one of those toothbrush "towelettes" would be nice.

Hm, this could be for girls who are in a relationship too. Why's it gotta be about one night stands? If I'm going out with girlfriends I put some extra stuff in my purse just in case I end up staying at their house; flip flops, contact solution, make up wipes...staying overnight at someone's house doesnt have to be about being a whore. Only way I'd pay $38 for this is if it was as a joke.

You know what NEEDs to be in there?1) one box of baby wipes, so you can skip the morning after shower that might wake him up and go. 2) one Fake phone number and email so you dont have to make one up on the spot. call me! 3) A tiny book of excuses as to why you cant stay there longer. 4) a folded up reusable trench coat , so you are not so obvious doing the walk of shame out to your car.
