Yeah, Cheney has sent a dangerous precedent for VP powers, but in the U.S. Constitution, the Vice President has no enumerated powers other than taking over for the president in even of death or resignation and the presiding officer of the Senate(President of the Senate). VPs didn't even sit in on the President's cabinet meetings regularly from 1791 to 1933 when Roosevelt brought the practice back. Recently the role of the VP has expanded, mostly based on the relationship between the President and VP. The VP now is a influential and powerful politician but from a constitutional stand point the vice presidency is a very minor role. Darn Nixon changed the role of the VP...

Well, I'd rather him there than in the President seat because the VP honestly doesn't have to do anything and that's the safest place for him and his insane ideas."Um, I beg to differ, and I believe that's why the VP choices will be much more important than in previous elections. Cheney has set a crazy new precedent for VP powers, and some would say that as a result Cheney's arguably just as powerful as Bush now. Scary.

Chelsea graduated from Stanford and then when on to get her masters in international affairs at Oxford. She went to work for McKinsey - the top consulting firm in the country. She is really smart and from what I can tell the Clintons have done a great job with her. You never see her in the headlines because she is drinking or doing drugs. What a credit to her parents.

Chelsea is prettier than her mom was at that age. (Just an observation) But she has the same voice. I think she must be fairly smart. I kinda like her overall. She's shy, i guess.
