Kristen Bell Talks Turning 30 With Parade Magazine

What Was Your Favorite Age so Far?

Kristen Bell turned 30 in July, and so far it's been the best year of her life. Like many women on the other side of their 20s, Kristen feels more comfortable with herself. The actress tells Parade magazine:

"I love 30 more than I've ever loved anything. I feel like I was born on my 30th birthday. It's finally the time where I've fully accepted and loved myself, which I'm realizing more and more each day."

So far in your life, which year would you consider your best? Was it a milestone year like 30? That year you spent studying abroad? The year you reached an important career goal? Or maybe this year?

Hmm, I think 28 was awesome! I celebrated my birthday surrounded by my 22 closest best friends and family members, went to Costa Rica, Aspen, and Miami. I also threw an awesome tailgate, a fab housewarming, and several super memorable intimate dinner parties. I treated myself to a new handbag and went to countless amazing restaurants for dinner.

I don't think I have lived my best year yet. I'm looking towards the future for some better times!

Of course there is still a lot of growing up and things for me to achieve and learn, I don't think you ever reach " the place where everything is figured out and where you life is perfect". But one moment in my life in which I was very proud of myself and happy for my achievements was when I turn 18, which was the day I graduated high school. I'm still need to grow up and achieve many things, but I'm getting there.

Probably 25. I met my now boyfriend back then. It was a really fun and care-free year from what I can remember.

I also tend to feel like the older I get = the happier I get. You start becoming more patient, more centered and just generally happier. I think I was at my happiest a couple of years ago and I've been regressing from that lately. I'm about to turn 25 and I thought I'd feel very content and even more comfortable in my skin but I have this feeling that I'm regressing and I'm feeling all scaredy and afraid of I don't even know what.I'm sure this feeling will pass, though.

25! I had a good job, enough money to buy my first designer dress for my 25th birthday, and a really fun party with tons of lovely friends at a downtown cabaret. I just remember feeling really loved and like my life had hit its stride.

Life seems to keep getting better as I get older. This year's been pretty good. Got married, went on my honeymoon and going to Disney again in the fall. Bought a house, had a bunch of awesome parties, made a bunch of awesome food. Got a summer intern to do the work I didn't want to do. Can't get much better than that!I didn't like college much, HS was worse, middle school was worse than HS, elementary school was pretty bad for me too. Kindergarten was OK I think. I was a little bratty back then though. Pre-K was mostly good too. Except the first few weeks when I cried my eyes out every day. ... I prefer life now.

Really? A month into 30 and she’s reached Nirvana? :oy:No offense to any years before or since, but when I read the headline, age 8 instantly popped into my head. I loved where I lived, was surrounded by great friends, had tons of freedom & places to explore, few responsibilities and didn’t know much about the world beyond my favorite little town.
