Kotex Ban the Bland Maxi Pad Contest

Considering no one sees our choice in feminine hygiene products, I find Kotex's new maxi pad design contest a bit strange. The brand — which has thought out of the euphemistic-period-talk box before with modern tampon commercials — teamed up with Sex and the City designer Patricia Field for its "Ban the Bland" contest. Women (or guys) over 14 are encouraged to design a fashion-forward maxi pad. Three winners will get a trip to September's NY Fashion Week. Just hope no one asks you how you got there!
