yeah I'm one of the "i kissed a girl" and it did nothing for me. It wasn't the kind of swallow you whole with lust kisses, it wasn't a "i love you" feeling kiss, it was just ... kissing. we made out, and honestly it was no big deal. I never made me feel any kind of connection or spark or anything.

As far as it being a fad... telling everyone about your sex life is a fad, so of course, more girls are going around talking openly about their bisexuality. Open discussion on the internet or between close friends is one thing, but talking (or singing) about your sex life to a bunch of strangers is tacky. Some women are passionate kissers and some are mechanical kissers. Men are either passionate kissers, mechanical kissers, or they're really bad at it and try to stick their tongue down your throat. A woman knows better than to stick her tongue down your throat.

i agree kissing girls is a totally different experience than kissing guys. i'm bi so i can't really decide which sex i prefer kissing but girls are definitely softer and i think more sensual kissers. i've just recently started exploring my sexuality with women and it's been the one of the most terrifying yet exhilarating experiences of my life.

girls are the only people i want to kiss, lol. (i hate that song and find it insulting btw). i wish lesbianism wasn't used as a fad to titallate some guy, but it often is when a woman is young or drunk or both. i think its cool if a woman kisses (or does more) with other women to explore her own sexuality, it's irritating and disingenious when it's done to impress(bonehead) guys.

I just think kissing girls is a totally different experience, even if you identify straight. Women are softer. Even the cleanest shaven man has a little stubbly texture to his skin and men's lips feel more muscular, I think. But women's lips are silkier! Even if you're not into ladies, it's just a very pleasant sensory experience.

I consider myself straight, but I have had some experiences in college with girls. I have to admit I liked the way other girls felt softer and smoother than men. I even had a girlfriend for about a year, but in the end we both married great guys. Since getting married my only experiences with other women have threesomes. I don't think my husband or I would think it was "hot" for him to be with another guy or to have another guy join us. Maybe its a double standard, but women are prettier than men and I like having a girlfriend join us once in a while.

i consider myself straight, but I've made out with a lot of girls in my time (read: in college) and always thought it was fun. The difference was that making out with guys, I'm kissing them and thinking about where it goes from here, and with girls the kiss is sort of the end of it. And one time i convinced two hot straight guys to make out when i was making out with both of them. Ah, to be 18 again lol. (for what it's worth, I'm 25 now and have left all that partying behind me. I love telling my "war stories" though!)

Yes, girls kissing girls is a fad. If that's who you are, you have the free will to do what you want. More often than not, girls have been doing that as of late because it's "cool" to do it. You can't deny that it happens a lot more now than it used to, and it's not because people didn't talk about it. That's the lame reason everyone always uses.

I have kissed a girl. It didn't do anything for me at all, and left me feeling like I just kissed my brother. That being said, I don't care about who kisses who....as long as they're genuine about it.

As the original poster I am mazed at so many responses here; thanks everyone and xxx for those who would like them!My serious relationships have been with men but I have had a few liaisons with women along the way; the softness was beautiful and very special. I think "Straightish but past the curious stage" would be more precise definition of my orientation.Sorry if this offends but I think girls/women are more tactile than men and I'm not sure that any woman is 100% straight deep down. I can't speak for men.As for kissing being a fad, I think it's more a case of us now having the confidence to go for it.For those who want to; go on kissing girls and liking it!

Nope, and since I'm happily married to a man I don't think I will. However, if I were single, I'd probably kiss a girl, I just don't think it would do anything for me because I love men. Too bad too, because I think girls rule!

I've kissed two girls in my life. First time was seventeen years ago and the second was two weeks ago. I went to give a new friend a hug and kiss (on the cheek) good bye. She grabbed me by my chin turned my mouth towards hers and our lips overlapped. It lasted about 3seconds but left me feeling like maybe I was a straight guy who just kissed another guy. I got outside and I wiped my mouth with my sleeve, lol, but no offense to her she's a very sweet and gorgeous women
