Katy Perry's fiancé Russell Brand has come down with a case of wedding fever. Katy says that her equally-eccentric partner is really excited about getting married, explaining:

"He's a total bridezilla. He's like a freak. He's always buying bride magazines. Every time we go out for breakfast, he's like, 'Can we just stop and get a bride magazine?'"

While grooms in general have a reputation of taking a low-key approach to wedding planning, there are always exceptions to the rule. Do you know any?

I had a cousin who's husband was so particular about what everyone wore, he said since we couldn't find our 2 year old matching heels with the rest of the bridal party she couldn't be in the wedding.

That's kind of cute that he'll want to stop just to buy "bride magazines." LOL. ANYWAY, no, I have never met a male "Bridezilla" unfortunately. I don't think I've ever met a female one, either. Usually the brides I've encountered have been quite cool and collected (well, as cool and collected as they could be) about their wedding planning. Nothing too crazy.

I don't know if I would say my husband was a bridezilla but he was really into wedding planning so it took a lot of the burden of planning and being over-the-top off of me.

It's just so cute when a guy get excited over a wedding! I know my fiance is more laid-back about it than I am, but then again, he's more laid-back than me over a lot of things!

My husband was very laid back about the wedding until the day before. Then he turned into a bit of a bridezilla, barking into the cell phone every five minutes to his brother about where they would meet, when, what time the tuxes were going on, etc. LOL The smartest thing to do was just say, "Yes, dear" and let him go.

no i haven't, but i love this - he's so cute and i think she's just using the worde bridezilla jokingly, because a guy who buys bridal mags is just excited...he's not being a jerk or anything from the sounds of it...too cute

it's not too bad, but my fiance definitely has stronger ideas about how he wants our wedding to be than me! no outrageous demands though so far (fingers crossed ;) )
