Kate Middleton Visits Girl For Make-a-Wish Foundation
Kate Middleton Shares a Sunny Smile With a Child Perhaps Hinting at Her Next Cause
Kate Middleton and Prince William have dedicated some of their time in Canada to various causes, including a visit to the fire-ravaged town of Slave Lake, Alberta, yesterday. And upon her arrival in Calgary today, the sunny-looking Duchess of Cambridge greeted one of her youngest fans, 6-year-old cancer patient Diamond Marshall. The meeting was arranged by the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
There have been hints before that Kate will soon take on charity causes dealing with youth. Before the wedding, it was reported that Kate met with an antibullying group, among other philanthropic organizations. Considering Princess Diana's dedication to children around the world, it wouldn't come as a surprise if Kate used her royal spotlight to bring awareness to disadvantaged youth.
