A Madame Tussauds wax figure of Sophie Scholl has been put on display at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany. Sophie was a Munich University student known for distributing anti-Nazi pamphlets for The White Rose anti-Nazi resistance movement during World War II. She was executed by the Nazis on Feb. 22, 1943.
