Sex sells. Sex that doesn't transpire between vegans and non-vegans sells, too. How else to explain that this nightly news segment focuses on vegans who choose not to sleep with non-vegans, i.e. "vegansexuals"? Meanwhile, this woman's co-anchor continues to giggle and make fun of the story like a kid. This is why I get my news from newspapers.
