Josef Fritzl kept his daughter from seeing the light of day for 24 years, and now he's trying to prevent us from seeing his face in court. Fritzl's lawyer says his client uses the blue ring binder to cover his face because he is simply embarrassed.
Fritzl, who imprisoned his daughter and three of the seven children he fathered with her, has plead guilty to incest and partially to rape. He's plead not guilty to enslavement and not guilty to the murder of one of his newborn sons. The trial began this week.
I guess we should expect such bizarre behavior from this disturbed man.

This is the one time I will advocate a firing squad i public but not they should aim for places that don't kill and keep on taking him out and shooting him regularly. I hope the men make him their b*tch in prison, disgusting!!!!!!

5That has to be the worst case of abuse I have ever heard in the last 50 years. There is no punishment "good enough" for him. He is so far below loathsome, I have no word of description.

1124 years underground, in solitaire, your only human contact is your jailor, who comes to feed and rape you, horrific does not begin to describe that. Think of it 24 YEARS!!!!!
12this is a court trial. the guy is acting under the full instructions of his lawyer. he holds a file so that his lawyer can say he's feeling ashamed or guilty. fritzl is a morbid sociopath. it's his usual opportunism on display here. he is incapable of feeling guilt or sympathy or remorse for his victims, but he is also incapable of feeling any real shame or embarrassment as he looks upon the real world as a sideshow to the world of his fantasies. there is nothing more and nothing less to the guy than opportunism. people make a big deal of decency and monstrosity. these are just images that someone like fritzl would know very well how to manipulate to his advantage from his years of experience as a full-blooded male sociopath left free to do as he wanted. i don't think they should worry so much about his committing suicide. why would he? the law still protects him, and all he cares about is if he can use that to his advantage.

Grandpa, I agree. I think this is the most awful, disturbing and sick story I have ever heard, I can't even come up with an idea good enough to punish that man for what he's done.
