Will Conan quit with the damn diary already? Not too long ago, we saw him creep out Jessica Alba with it. He's now doing the same with Jennifer Connelly. If the contents of the man's diary aren't sacred, you think he cares that Jen is happily wed? Absolutely not, but he does care that her husband has one of those annoying British accents. Hallo, hallo, hallo!

Yes, it's "rehearsed" (the guest is informed) during the commercial break prior to the skit. I went to a taping where he did this segment with Anne Hathaway. Just don't forget the golden rule: If it's on TV, it must be true.

For sure its rehersed, since the "thoughts" are pretaped they had to make sure that she was gonna say what his name was and then that part at the end.

I was wondering if they rehearsed it too....maybe she got the big picture and that they would do a diary sketch, but was left out on certain jokes, because she seemed to laugh impulsively at some parts. It was really funny!

obvoiously, she seems to be fine with it and laughing when it's over. She' probably agreed to do it and had rehearsed it before. i mean she IS an actress.
