It's not just Jessica Alba and company campaigning for Barack Obama — Jay-Z just dropped his newest recording, a robo-call urging Ohio residents to get out and vote. Take a listen . . .

What do you think? To quote Mr. Z, "Sah-weet?" Is it an instant hit destined for your iPod or just another dinnertime disruption?

I despise robo-calls from politicians. It'd be an immediate delete or hang up.
1I think this is hot. They are trying to get an untapped market of citizens who usually dont vote or know how to go about it. I am happy that more celebrities are stepping up and getting involved themselves for any candidate.
2Go Obama! I'd love to get a call from Jay-Z!!!
3Being a Texas resident, I wasn't one of those fortunate enough to recieve this message from Jay-Z. I did, however, get two robocalls. One from Barack Obama yesterday and one from his wife today.
4You have got to be kidding me.
5that was kinda horrible.
6Lame. I would imagine that undecided voters would prefer a robocall from the candidate or his/his spouse or a real, nervous volunteer over a celebrity any day. A Jay-Z robocall just doesn't seem very...genuine. And celebrities can be sort of polarizing.
