Before she was an Academy-Award-winning actress, Jane was a sultry sex symbol thanks to her lead role in the 1968 sci-fi spoof Barbarella. Although she's come a long way since the campy role that put her in the spotlight, Jane has never shied away from talking about sex.

Jane recently said, "I think it's important for everyone to know that people in their 70s can be sexually attractive and sexually active. They don't have to be, of course, and lots of people have opted out of that, but they can be. I can be. I mean, I am."

Jane Fonda is questionably a brilliant actress. She’s been true to her beliefs and worked hard to make this country & the world a better place. Her anti-war work began when soldiers came to her with complaints (she was Miss Army Recruiter in 1962) and she investigated - in order to properly respond to them. For that, she was hounded by the US government for decades (the FBI had a list of children who were in kindergarten with her son) and has been vilified by people who separately admit that much of what she said about the war in Vietnam was true. Sycophants are the people who are too cowardly to speak out.
