A couple months ago, a classmate and I started to talk more. We became friendly with each other. About a month ago, I went out with a group of people to a friend's house. For the last half of the night, he sat by me and he was very flirty, very touchy-feely — probably because he was a little drunk. I've hung out with him a couple times since, plus with a few other friends. Last week, he wanted to see a movie and asked me to go with him, so I did. Afterward, we met up with friends and ended up going out to a nightclub where he was very, very touchy and flirty — and again a little drunk.
During the school week, he does talk to me and hang out with me sometimes, and he's been asking me to do things on the weekends, so I feel that he likes me, but I'm not sure. Recently, others have started to comment about us, asking whether we're together, what's going on, etc. Could he just be really friendly or maybe just want to hook up? I haven't dated much, I've never been in a real relationship, and I'm not sure how I feel about him. He is an amazing person. He's funny, sociable, kind, smart, laid-back, and ambitious, and I feel like we do have some interests in common. The only thing is that I'm a very active, outdoorsy person, and while he loves sports, he doesn't seem to be as active as I am. I like hanging out with him and I would definitely consider him a great friend, but I guess I just feel unsure about what's happening. I don't know how I should act. For example, should I just continue being friendly, or should I flirt every once in a while?
