Diddy's back with a new video blog, and though it's not as long on nonsense as his last offering it's equally (and arguably) as short on substance. At least it's seasonally appropriate! Starring in his own horror movie, Diddy plays the clip of Katie and Sarah discussing newspapers, and Palin's reluctance to name a specific paper. The rest of the video is Diddy under the covers, in a not un-amusing homage to The Blair Witch Project, he cowers and says things like, "She's worse than the Boogeyman."
Get Flash to see this player.
The meat of his argument seems to be, "You could become the president of the United States. Did you hear the answer to that question? John McCain is 72." Though he opts not to go further with specifics. Much like Palin opting not to reveal certain media titles by which to possibly present a bias? Similar, Diddy? His claim isn't without some basis in fact, 30 percent of all Vice Presidents have gone on to takeover the top spot — though it would have been a nice addition to his argument if he'd included it. Maybe in the extended director's cut.
His grand finale, "I'm not coming out the covers. It safe underneath the covers. . . if I stay underneath the covers, she won't become president," is punctuated with a "Sarah!" His heart might be in the right place it's allegedly about getting out the vote — but I'd love to know a little bit more about why he's so scared of Sarah Palin. He caps it with an appeal to register to vote and the deadline (which in some states is sooner than the 6th, so check for yourself.) Who do you think is scarier — Sarah — or Diddy?

Fat Face
Palin's short on substance all the time, and Diddy's not running for Vice President.
1What's the difference between Diddy saying I'm not coming out from under the covers and Palin - a vice presidential candidate - saying if you want to know about the economy, ask parents on the sidelines at a kid's soccer game?
I don't like Diddy, but I'd even take him over Palin any day.
2
I love these silly Diddy videos. I laughed through the whole thing. Honestly, do people
actually take him seriously?
3diddy stole my line! "sarah palin scares me" is MINE you thief!!! (see avatar)
4Washed up rappers who ride the coattails of their partner's success scare me.
5hey yy think you can get that on a button???
6he and she are idiots, sounds like he is having a massive orgasm
7agree with hausfrau!
he's sooo sad...i almost want to cry for him. does he really have to act like an idiot to get all this attention? oh wait maybe he does...
8You know what scares me sean? men who change their name every 5 years and are mouth breathers.
9Yech Pink! You just ruined breakfast!
10haus you could get it on a button or you could just grab a picture of his recent record sales, i'm sure they would both say the same thing! hahah. he's a tool.
11well i was typing so all i heard was the noise i had to scroll back up to make sure he was ok and not making a sex tape, that did sound like an orgasm
12also, i think it's kind of a nonstory to post these diddy videos (diddeos?). it's kind of like posting sarah palin videos at this point, we know by now that they are both mentally deficient. but in case anyone's wondering, and because it's kind of funny, here's a short list of the celebrities who supported john mccain at his last fundraiser in Beverly Hills. i wonder if Major Dad, or Superman, or... Jon Cryer?!! will be releasing a video any time soon?
Dean Cain
13James Caan
Jon Voight

15yeah i know!! jon cryer... i used to have a huge crush on him in the 80s. i know, i know, he's a poor man's matthew broderick, but i like those disaffected, nerdy white guy types. DUCKIE, nOOOOOOOOO!
161. Puffy is ridiculous.
172. Saying you'd prefer puffy over Palin is even more ridiculous.
Diddy is crazy as hell, but this was funny! Him hiding under the covers.
18I actually thought that was kind of funny! He needs to pick up his lines faster, though. Gotta keep up the pace!
I love John Cryer in 2 and a Half Men. He is hysterical!
I think Palin does scare some people...especially after multiple interviews that contain unsettling answers. I think her question dodging last night reaffirmed that.
19........PUTIN HEAD!! AAAAAAAAH!
20She used the "rearing head" quote about something else last night that wasn't Putin...what was it?
21He is a complete moron.
22LOL! @ Diddy. That video was Hi-Larious!!!!! "Is that her? Sarah? SARAHHHHHHH!!!"
That man scares me, but at least he's not running for VP!!!!
23When will Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy and Puffy all go away?!
24I would really just like to know why Joe Biden is forgiven for his errors...but Palin is drawn and quartered? Can someone give me a good explanation without any unneeded bashing or sarcasm?
25Well when you do 100 interviews and say have 3 or 4 flubs people will let it slide. But when you do like 5 interviews and have 3 or 4 flubs it's magnified.
26What unforgivable errors has Biden made?
27Oh -- Diddy -- please stop -- my sides are bursting.
Not only that Wade -- it's magnified because they are doing EVERYTHING they can to keep her away from the press. It makes it look that there is something there that the McCain camp doesn't want use to see.
I personally hope she does more interviews.
28Puff Daddy is a terrible musician, but a great producer/businessman/marketing genius. He really just branded himself and hyped a whole lot of nothing into a whole lot of money. I can't take him seriously.
29you don't know why he's so scared of palin??
30diddy is hilarious! I hope he keeps making more of these videos.
and like some people said, he's not running for vice president.
I have no words to express how funny this is.
31LOL. Can't take it too seriously though.
32i think that diddy is - because he's let power go to his head and she hasn't yet. i think that he's trying to be campy and funny and it's just not working in my opinion. he thinks that because he's diddy - he can get away with saying those things, but honestly - it doesn't work for me.
33Honestly, what is so scary about Sarah Palin? Seriously, without any sarcasm. She isn't a smooth talker like Obama. He is smooth, but I do not trust him at all. You cannot just sit down and be friendly with our enemies. It doesn't work like that. I like Palin. McCain, I guess comes with the package. I like Biden. I, however, don't like Diddy. I really don't care for any of these celebs coming out with their little videos, etc. Not funny. They are overpaid idiots.
34I dont think Palin is scary.
I think she's a joke.
Pure comedy.
Diddy is annoying, but at least he isn't running for VP.
35TASTE, exactly why is she "scary" and a "joke"?
36Why is she a joke? Shouldn't women be a little more supportive of women?
37I don't like Palin but I refuse to watch this or support this jackass in any way.
38No one should be supported simply because of their gender - a person who is grotesquely unqualified and unprepared for the job they are actively seeking should be called on their lack of qualification.
And Palin is grotesquely unqualified and unprepared for the vice presidency of the United States:
Washington Post 10/2/08
"About half of all voters surveyed said they were uncomfortable with the idea of Republican presidential nominee John McCain taking office at age 72, and 85 percent of those voters said Palin does not have the experience needed to be president, according to The Washington Post/ABC News poll.
Sixty percent said Palin did not have the experience to be president, up from 45 percent in a similar survey a month ago, the Post said.
About four in 10 conservatives and white evangelical Protestants, three in 10 Republicans and a quarter of Republican women said Palin does not have the necessary experience, the Post said."
39"a person who is grotesquely unqualified and unprepared for the job they are actively seeking should be called on their lack of qualification."
like we do with Obama! woot!
40and we do with mccain and palin!
41McCain doesn't have enough experience?
And I still can't see how anyone who is an obama supporter has a problem with palin's experience level.
42Anyone capable of critical thinking can tell that there are serious differences in quality when you compare Obama's experience to Palins, and outrageous differences when you compare how the two have intellectually, emotionally and philosophically prepared for the jobs they're asking for. Obama went to Harvard, worked in his community, taught... Palin watched a couple of episodes of Roseanne and the movie Dave.
43Steph, while your veiled insults are quite entertaining, I must say, it seems that anyone capable of critical thinking and being honest with themselves would see there isn't much of a difference.
44If that's the case, why can't Palin draw upon her experience to name Supreme Court cases, newspapers, or to discuss policy without sticking to a careful prepared script? With all her experience, why isn't Palin doing any Sunday morning talk shows to let us know what regulations McCain has fought for that would have kept us from falling into such a deep economic slump? She should be willing and ready to make her case for a McCain/Palin administration any and everywhere a chance is offered. That she isn't speaks volumes about the "quality" of Palin's experience.
45Steph, supreme court cases aren't governor's milieus. They are executive branch, sc isn't. The newspaper thing, when I watch it, it was a woman not wanting to step on a landmine with what a loaded bomb that question was. Shall I produce a list of all the obama and biden gaffes for you to justify?
46Well at least Palin doesn't socialize with known terrorists. I think that makes her more qualified anyday than Obama. I thought and many others did as well, that she was very well-versed during the debate. CBS and NBC are both left-wing news establishments that are pro-Obama. That is fine, but I am sick of these people saying she isn't experienced and he is. Why are Obama and Biden forgiven for all their flaws? As far as her going on these talk shows, c'mon people, did you watch the View? The media is biased and they are basically attacking the people that are not their "candidate" Why would she put herself in that situation so that Tina Fey could get a little more airtime? Yea, can't really blame her for that one.
47"Well at least Palin doesn't socialize with known terrorists. I think that makes her more qualified anyday than Obama."
I don't think that makes her MORE qualified than Obama.
48GS, Palin weighed in against a Supreme Court decision in June - was she overstepping her boundries? The newspaper justification doesn't hold at all. What landmine would she have been stepping on?
The terrorist accusation is pretty damned libelous and McCain really doesn't want to go there - if we start playing the tear down the character game, Crash McCain is not going to fare well if we look too closely at his personal life, his military career or his associations and flip-flops in his political life. Republicans really, really need to stick to the issues this time.
49"Obama went to Harvard, worked in his community, taught... Palin watched a couple of episodes of Roseanne and the movie Dave"
