The driver of a stolen doughnut truck gave Illinois police officers a run for their munchies last Friday. The 100 mph chase involved nine (!!!) police officers and finished 135 miles away from its starting point — which happened to be a hospital. And the driver? He was a patient on a mission to make a fast escape. The doughnuts were coincidental accomplices, but the dude was still charged with officer cruelty. For more on the story, click here.
