Perhaps John Edwards had an affair with a documentary filmmaker for a reason I never would have suspected— he wanted to document himself having sex! Rumor has it that the former presidential candidate made a sex tape with his ex-mistress Rielle Hunter. The claim comes from a former aide to Edwards, who is set to release a book on his experiences with the fallen politician.
This story most likely adds to the hurt John's wife Elizabeth is feeling and it makes me wonder if John Edwards's reckless behavior went even further than cheating on his terminally ill wife while he was running for president. But not all filmmaking in the bedroom has to be reckless. Filming, and then watching, yourself have sex with a trusted partner could be an entertaining (albeit, not original) way to spice up your sex life. Then again, it might come back to haunt you even if you're not a national politician.

I would never, ever, ever do this. Not because I am prude, but because you never know who will get ahold of the tape and what it could do to your future career.

I've never made a sex tape with a partner. However, when I was young and attractive oh so long ago I was constantly being eyed by a porn star at the time who finally approached me with a proposition. So let's just say that there may be an audition tape somewhere out there but the good thing is I turned down the offer. It just wasn't me, LOL!

6I don't get the appeal of it- I mean, no matter how hot you are, it's still you exposed and looking all weird and sweaty. Even porn doesn't look hot til it's all edited together and stuff. And even then, results will vary.

12What do morals have to do w/making a private tape between you and your partner? and what is so disgusting about it? IMO there's nothing immoral or disgusting about filming intimacy between two partners for their sexual benefit.
I think morals come to play when the few opportunistic nut jobs use it as a tool of vengeance for a relationship gone wrong.
