Have You Ever Fallen Asleep During Sex?

You might be rolling your eyes at that question, but according to the March issue of Glamour, seven percent of women owned up to falling asleep during sex! I never thought that was seriously possible, so I have to ask: Have any of you fallen asleep in the midst of making love? If so, please explain the circumstances in the comments below.

unfortunately, i did that last night. i haven't been able to sleep, i might get 4hrs if i'm lucky a night. I was in pain and took a pain killer, and fell asleep while my boo was on top of me. funny, he knew i was asleep and didn't care, he just kept going. i woke an hour later and was like, what just happened? he laughed and told me he made love to me while i slept, i felt horrible, but he didn't seem to mind.... makes me wonder if he's done it before....

I cant! thats so mean! xD Actualy I was searching this cause a guy im seeing feel asleep while dry humping the other night.. he just kept stopping and then he was like im not sleep! and i was like yer.. u were... and he apparently falls asleep all the time randomly... could he have narcolepsy? :S

Unfortunaltly, I fall asleep right before or during sex, every night. It is a very weird feeling. I can be fully into the moment and just fall asleep. I have no memory of what went on.I would work a long 9 hour shift at work, drive a hour home, only to see that no chores had been done, no meat taken out of the freezer, no clean dishes, and the kids running around screaming and crying. I wake up at 7:30am and hit the floor running. By the end of the day it is often 3:00am, when i finally get to go the bed. As soon as my head hits the bed, I am out. I feel bad and also very sorry that I fell asleep instead of making love and I can even see where my partner is hurt by this, but I just can't help it. I am exhausted. What pisses me off about my partner is the fact that he is willing to do anal sex if I fall asleep. I understand that I should fall asleep but it is one thing to fall asleep and be woken up by an alarm clock or even to another extreme, throwing water on someone, but it is quiet another story to be woken up with a d**k in my A$$. I told my partner that I will be doing to same thing to him within a month. I firgure the thought of that may bother him so much, that he will start thinking about what I want and that is not a d**k in my A$$ as a sleep.

Haha in fact yes! it happen to BOTH me and my bf last night. well this morning. Ok so we had been at a friends party and didn't leave till 6am in the morning followed by an hr long walk back to his(my bfs) house, bare in mind we were also quite drunk. Upon heading to bed we decided to have anal sex(after about 30mins of regular sex) a few mins in my bf suddenly just stopped, I presumed this was so that I could get "used to him" but soon realized no he actually had nodded off. I myself at this stage was far too tired to wake him up so I ended up falling asleep too..with him still in me... when we woke up he just goes "what ever happened to the sex?"

Late night + alcohol = yeah it happened once. But more often than not things get started while we're already asleep and wake up in the middle of the act going "what the hey?!"

I have kind of nodded off before now! The other day my boyfriend fell asleep RIGHT after climax and whilst he was still inside me. It took me a second to realise. ;) NOTHING wakes him up either! 5 minutes of prodding did the trick though. ;)

haha I've fallen asleep during foreplay a few times... it was always late at night (and I think once early in the morning) and we thought we'd fool around before going to sleep but I guess we were too tired. =P

Never during actual sex but once or twice during phone sex which is pretty hard to maintian late at night with a 3 hour time difference. Long Distance can be a killer

i cant really imagine ever falling asleep, between the motion and the noise, never could. although i will admit to passing out too frequently during sex (i have a heart condition and i occasionally pass out when i get excited lol).

Yep, I've done it several times over the last 10+ years with my husband. I'm not embarrassed by that, in fact it never occurred to me to be embarrassed by it until I read some of these comments. lol There have been plenty of times when we came home smashed and got to bed and I simply passed out, and of course the whole new-parents thing is pretty draining and we were lucky to be having sex at all. Hehe

I actually did on Prom night, lol! I'd been up since 4am and actually was almost taken to the emergency room for a bladder infection, and it was around 2am when we got back to the hotel room. It was in the shower, too, hah! He just picked me up and tucked me in and we went to sleep instead. Haha, love TMI threads..

Never during. if I am tired and he's ready I'll help him out in some manner, but won't have sex. Like, Lambsauce tho, I do enjoy those early morning half sleep/half awake sessions... where you are not quite sure what's going on until the end. Those are always a nice way to start the morning. :)

embarressingly yes, boyfriend and i stayed out until about 3am on his birthday, drunk A LOT, walked home in the rain, having sex missionary style, was thinking gee, my eyes are sore, woke up in the morning to say 'did i fall asleep in the middle of something?' my bf was so embaressed and so was i! but never again since!!!
