Goldfish Tank + Deep Fryer = Only In Japan
Who in the world would consider combining a deep fryer with a fish tank? And not to facilitate the frying of fish sticks? Why, our friends the Japanese, of course! So the boiling oil sits on top of the water, but doesn't affect the fish, who in fact get to eat all the stuff that drips down below. So you don't need to feed the fish, and you don't have to clean the fryer. Don't the fish get neurotic, though? Don't they get curious about the oily world above them? My philosophy is, just because you can--doesn't mean you should. See for yourself. (Thanks for the tip, fairy_mk!)
