I had a great conversation with SpacekatDude yesterday about her.

The problem with Prejean isn't the sex tapes - it's that she's so busy judging and condemning other people when her own life is such a wreck. If she was like, "Look, we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God - and I am really ashamed of my behavior" it would be a different story. But it's not. It's "the liberal media is attacking me" and "oh, poor me." It's nauseating.

I have no problem with someone getting a breast augmentation, or parading on E! in lingerie, or making a sex tape. But to do it and pretend to be a paragon a Christian virtue? It's hypocrisy of the highest sort..

I love hearing about the tragedies that befall her. I don't understand why some christians still support her. But I think those people just really hate liberals

She shouldn't judge gays, but let's face it, she did the right thing. She's now rejected the old Christian, judgemental attitude and supports free and open sexuality, pornography, casual sex, and gay sex. She renounced her old ways of placing a taboo on gay sex and marriage and is now in favor of making millions for pornography, doing what you want when you want with your body, even making money off it if you so choose. She's a born again libertarian. Good for her, she saw the light. Let freedom reign.

Sandra -- she now SUPPORTS gay marriage? Where did she say that?

She kind of strikes me as a trashy fame wh*re. And I don't say that out of jealousy or to be judgmental. Actually, when the whole thing first went down, I felt bad for her. When she answered the question at that pageant, she never said, "Gay people suck, let's kill em all!" she simply said, "I don't agree with it." Sure, it was worded poorly, but she was just giving her opinion.

But then there were the nude pictures, the ones taken when she was 17. But that wasn't her fault, she was just a naive 17 year old girl. And the sex tapes. Oh, the masturbation tapes. But again, she was 17. She didn't know any better. Being young isn't an excuse for being stupid. I'm about the same age she was when she had the pictures done. I can guarantee you, getting some nude shots of myself and taping myself masturbating are the last things on my mind right now.

Also, I was raised Christian and I support gay marriage. Frankly, I find the increasing divorce rate more of a threat to traditional marriage than gays. (And seriously, some of those gay couples have been together a long time. So they're probably better equipped for marriage than some straight couples.)

I'm so tired of seeing this media wh*re, just like so many others out here.

I just assumed, you can't be in favor of masturbation tapes and million dollar nude poses and against gay and lesbian marriage can you? Maybe you can, I just assumed she got more liberal and rejected the Christianity as she got older. I would assume she's for it now, but I could be wrong, that would be a weird combination of beliefs if she's still against gay marriage.

Not sure why it was controversial, 52% of Californians were against it, and that's a liberal state. I'm for gay marriage by the way, just weird to attack someone for holding a commonly held view.

There's no way it will be illegal in 20 years, let's face it. 70% of people turning 18 are for it and 70% of people who are old and dying are against it, so the only question is when, not if. Even in Mississippi it will be legal in about 25 years.
