"Actually, you need to follow the conservative program to be considered a conservative." Is there an organized conservative organization, that clearly defines EXACTLY what a conservative is so that everyone can determine on a factual basis whether someone is or is not an approved conservative?

Hainan- I think CA makes a great case study about the folly of government jobs. People want tons of programs, but when the money runs out those programs must be cut. Cutting programs means cutting jobs, and that's distasteful to voters... but those jobs should not be seen as guaranteed. They are just like jobs in the public sector.

I hate California so damn bad. The have floundered away so much money. The have the 5th largest economy in the the world. The couldn't use all that revenue to support .5% of the worlds population. No one should feel sorry for the government of California. This is exactly what liberalism and socialism get you.
