I think outlawing them is going too far. Just as requiring them by law would be going too far.

I don't like the burqa, but I am reluctantly deciding I am against this. It's such a naked ploy to gain right-wing Islamaphobe votes in France. I think it's an issue of religious freedom, ultimately.

I'm okay with that. I like to see people's faces. I was driving the other day beside a woman in a burqa and it's hard to judge where people are looking, what their facial expression is etc. in rush hour when you can't see them, and it makes it hard to judge their movements.
