This is beyond cool. In what amounts to a live art happening, 247 people agree to go to NYC's Grand Central Station and just stand still for five minutes. Baffled and fascinated onlookers scratch their heads — and even poke a few of the frozen — trying to figure out what's going on. I'm jealous. It must have been exciting to be there, either as a human statue or as someone whose boring commute got really, really interesting.

I am also really jealous I couldn't be there. It's really cool
1That was really cool! I would have freaked out and thought I was dreaming or something.
2I really like Improve Everywhere (the group that organized this performance piece.) You can check out videos, testimonials, etc. of lots of their events at their website. I think my faves are the No Pants missions and the mission they recently performed at an Abercrombie. Hilarious!
3errr... IMPROV Everywhere. LOL. sorry!
4ahaha, i remember seeing the video of them in abercrombie too, it was hilarious!
5That is awesome. That happened in Chicago once, I came off the train and everyone was frozen on the sidewalk. I just figured it was a movie. So I did the robot dance and a slow mo run in front of them. And finished with the classic mime 'stuck in a box' move. LOL!
