People looking to get a little bit statutorily rapey on Facebook are going to find that an increasingly tougher road to hoe. Following the lead of MySpace, the social networking site has agreed to a series of safety measures designed to keep mixing between legal users and jail bait to a minimum.

I'm not sure that keeping all pervs off various sites is possible.The Internet gives a person too many possibilities to set up fake IDs. It's scary in a way.On MySpace, I've been fortunate to have found real people for the most part. Two were removed by MySpace, I was hacked once, and I deleted one person because I didn't like where the conversation was going. It wasn't off color, just wanted too personal information.The Anonymity of the Internet will be with us until every computer has a camera that turns on as soon as the computer is turned on and will disable the computer if tampered with. And I imagine that day will come within ten years.
