In 1968, Richard Burton gave his wife this 33-carat diamond. It was estimated for 3.5 million, but sold for $8.8 million! The man who delivered the infamous jewel says that when Elizabeth saw the diamond, she exclaimed "Oh sh*t!" He recalls: "She gave him a huge kiss. In fact, it was so big they knocked the lamp off the table next to the sofa! She gave him a couple of big kisses [and squealed], 'Oh Richard, I love it! I love it!'"

It must have been amazing to be Elizabeth Taylor and receive those jewels. They're all stunning. They ruby set in the first photo is gorgeous (as is the photo of her husband and her. She looked she genuinely happy.) The ruby ring and sapphire necklace are also pretty as as well. It's hard to pick one piece from her vast jewels as a favorite as she had so many beautiful pieces!
