Dumbass Laws

Laws. We presumably have them because we need them. Or do we? In Iowa, there's a law prohibiting a horse from eating a fire hydrant. No joke. Given all the time and money involved in passing laws, I'd love to know the impetus for that one. Did a horse decide one day that he was above drinking from a trough, so he opted for the "bottled" water on the corner instead? To read up on more dumbass laws, click here.
