Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz coined the term, "There's no place like home" and I think everyone can relate to that feeling. Whenever I'm gone for long periods of time, even if I'm on a fabulous vacation, I always look forward to coming home. The comfort of having your own things, your own space, and getting back to your own routine is what makes home so special, so ladies, do tell, when were you most excited to be home?

Rocket Dog
after a long day at work... when its cold outside.. to just go home and be besdie my boyfriend
thats when im excited to be home... And there are also holiday times like christmas when im excited to be home with my mom and dad of course!
and just hang out with them and watch stupid t.v shows all day long.. thats a pretty good
feeling as well!
1Right after the gym. When I walk in the door and I am just like ahhhhh! My kitty comes out and meows her head off and my boyfriend is laying on the couch and ahh it makes me feel ten times better!!!
And home as in where my parents and siblings live...I lvoe coming home on speciall occassions. Like thanksgiving or christmas or a birthday. Everyone is happy and jolly and there is SUCH good food!!!
2After spending time with my in-laws. I can't wait to escape the crazy!
3I love traveling and seeing other places, but nothing is nicer to me than the feeling of being home after a long trip. I love seeing my two kitties and snoozing in my own bed.
4Right after finals, when I know there's nothing to do but go home to my parents place and just bum around. Or after something really stressful where I'm surrounded by people for a long period of time. Nothing feels better than getting to my room, closing the door, and knowing I have some 'me' time.
5LOL @ Bbkf. I feel the same way.
6Whenever I know my sister & brother-in-law are at our parents', it makes me want to go home. My whole family is spread out, so we rarely get to see one another!
7Around the holidays or on a cold night when a good movie is on and there's something yummy in the oven.
8After my first semester of law school, i couldn't WAIT to go "home" to my Dad's house. I've never been one who is super-attached to my parents, but I needed a break from my actual home, at school, and being in middle-of-nowhere-north-dakota was the perfect place to do that!
9well "home" for me would be back in missouri at my parents' house. i got to visit over labor day weekend and that was really nice just to hang out with them since i live 15 hours away.
10i loved coming home at Thanksgiving from college. I would get in late and the next day i would rise to the smell of turkey cooking. Awww...so nice!
11For me Christmas break during college is the best time of year. After a long week of finals and a busy semester away it's nice to go 8 hours home, especially since my two brothers, sister, brother in law, nieces and nephews are all in the same place, that rarely happens other than Christmas.
12After being in binding clothes... I love to throw on my comfies right when I get home. When it's cold outside. After being around people I don't know or don't like. When aunt Flow visits. I love a few days down, probably too much. I love being out and about half of the time too, don't get me wrong, but really home is where my heart is most of the time.
13After a tiring vacation with a horrendous trip through the airport!
14I love getting home every day! First thing I want to do is take off my conservative office wear and put on my jammies or my yoga gear.
15When I have had a rough day at school and/or work is when I just want to be home.
I love the holidays and going to my parents house for them. I always wake up really early and am the first one there. I love helping and just relaxing and drinking wine or a beer with my dad.
16After a long day's work or if it is really cold outside, I love coming home and curling up on the couch with some warm blankets, wearing my pajamas and my fave big gap hooded sweatshirt that my parents got me in college that i always wore when i was having a hard day, and put on a good movie or one of my tv shows on DVD. That's when being at home is the best!
17i find looking foward to coming home when i've spent a few days away or even just a night in an unfamiliar bed. i especially love coming home when it's snowing and the weather is yucky outside! who doesn't love to come and throw on some comfy clothes!
18I look forward to coming home after a long day at work (which happens often!). I get home a few hours before everyone else and have time to just chill and relax, take a bath, light candles, listen to music, or whatever else I want to do that's just for me.
19Anytime I have a nightmare journey back, particularly when I'm stuck in the other end of town waiting ages for a nightbus that's packed full of drunk people when it arrives. I've had moments of wanting to kiss my floor I've been so grateful to get home after a night out.
20I love being at my parents' house around the holidays when it really feels like "home" to me.
I love being at my own place after work and school. I immediately change into comfy clothes and veg out. It feels the most "homey" when it's cleaned and cool and I can just curl up on my couch under a blanket.
21Over the summer when I don't have to go to school, and I can relax with my family.
22Anytime I was away for 6 weeks visiting my dad in the summers. Ugh, I loved home.
23lemuse, i am with you--binding clothes into pajamas is the best feeling in the world, especially when you have your period.
