You have looked forward to your wedding for months, maybe even your entire life, so on the big day, it's no wonder you want to enjoy every last minute of your party -- or do you? On your wedding night, did you leave early or stay out late? Ladies, do tell, at what point did you and your groom call it a night?

It was a LONG day, but once things actually got going it happened really fast, and before I knew it the reception was over. We had wedding at 4 and the reception lasted until 9:30. I had wanted to go out with the wedding party for a little bit- I thought it would be fun for all of us to walk into a swanky bar still all dressed up- but once I was in the limo and it was quiet for the first time all day, all I wanted was some alone time with my new hubby.

I had an Brunch/early afternoon wedding at the Country Club. The reception was over so quickly that I hardly got to taste the food which looked absolutely yummy(it started at 12:00 pm and ended at 5:00 pm)we went home and changed out of our wedding clothes, had a romantic candlelight dinner at an exclusive restaurant on the water,(just the two of us) and then went back to the Bed and Breakfast and the honeymoon suite we had reserved for the night.I spent the rest of the evening with my husband hanging out doing newlywed stuff then we had to get up early the next morning to drive into Manhattan to catch a cruise ship to Bermuda for our honeymoon.....

Our reception ended around 11:00 PM. The hotel that we had our reception at had given us a room for the night. After we saw most of the people off, we retired to our room.

We stayed for the whole thing! We also had an "after party" for our wedding party. We had a Hollywood Glamour theme so we had to have one. :) It was basically all of us hanging out in our suite talking, laughing, playing poker, and just relaxing. We went to sleep around 2am and were up at 6am to make our flight. It was all well worth it.
