Do Tell: What's Your Favorite Saying?

I love sayings, although I have been known to mix them up from time to time. Old cliches may be cheesy, but they stick in people's minds because sometimes, there's no better way to state the obvious. One of my all time favorites is "you can't have your cake and eat it too", so ladies, do tell, what's your favorite saying?

"Too many cooks spoil the broth." Could explain why I prefer to work alone...Also, wouldn't it make much more sense if it was "You can't eat your cake and have it too"? Because, if I have a cake, I can definitely still eat it. But if I eat it, I can't still have it....I've always hated that expression.
